Whitney received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in Animal Ecology with a specialization in animal care and a minor in Biology in 2005. From there he became lead animal keeper at the Kangaroo Conservation Center in Georgia. In 2009 he moved to Garden City, KS for a zookeeping job at Lee Richardson Zoo....
